Fairmont

Fairmont was the last stop in our action packed July. This year our cabin was right by the park.
Mason and Quinn are becoming really good friends. There was hardly any fighting and lots of smiles!

We did the hike to the waterfall. I swear this hike was waaaaay longer when I was little. Unfortunately there was a flood so the hot pools were changed and a little smaller from the last time we were there.
Due to the amount of babies, we had to have a few non-swimmers.

The boys played lots and lots of golf. When they were golfing the hole behind our house we sent out some helpers.
We spent one day at Invermere Lake. The weather was beautiful and the water was warm! Couldn't have asked for better.
The kids made friends and commandeered a boat.

After swimming we did some window shopping and the kids talked their Grandma Wilde into buying ice cream.

These kids are pretty lucky to have such a young, vibrant grandma. She is awesome about playing games and going swimming. I enjoyed it when she introduced them to the steam shower and showed them how to breathe deep and joy heat and humidity.

We spent endless hours at the pool. The best part was the swim suit dryer!! You just put your swim suit in and the machine spun it until it dried out. It was so nice to not have wet suits all over the place.  We also enjoyed aquafit. Before the class, Danielle showed us her skills she learned while at BYU-Idaho. I guess university is good for something because her and Mom showed up all the old people. I watched because the class was over full. You had to sign up a few days in advance to make it in the class. Needless to say it was very entertaining.

Ollie is so cute and a pretty awesome baby. He spent most hours attempting to sleep. He did enjoy playing on the floor but it wasn't always the safest place to be.

We enjoyed an intense game of bingo at the rec centre. There seemed to be a lot of old people visiting Fairmont while we were there because bingo was crazy popular. Tannis and Erin are pretty lucky because they were each able to win a round. After a short while, the kids got restless and found the shuffle board table. They are kind of terrorists!

On the last day at Fairmont we enjoyed smore's before 10AM. The kids were in heaven. Cohen is a smore master. We definitely made more mallows than we could eat but it was super fun.

Other highlights include
-The family bed. Due to the small living quarters, the White's and Wright's got to enjoy foam mattresses in the loft. Next time we go back we might have to splurge and get one more cabin.
- Lots and lots of food. We all took a turn coking supper. There was lots of pop and more treats than we could manage in 5 days.
-Late night games

I am pretty blessed to have such an awesome family. It is growing like crazy and I wouldn't change it for anything. I can hardly wait until we all get together again. Sisters really are the best.
