Tis the season....

Let the Christmas season begin because the Wrights are ready! We started early so we could do it together because we knew that Tim would be busy writing finals during the Christmas season!!! So we hit up wal-mart and the dollar store and got some fabulous decorations. We were definitely the first people to be doing christmas shopping!

Here is Tim picking out the decorations. He was serious business! I kept picking out dorky clashy things and he would smile and say NO! To earn money for his mission Tim worked at Taiipan trading and was promoted to the Christmas tree manager!! So he knows his trees. He just wanted the best!
The tree is out of the box and ready to be assebled!
Tadaa!!! The tree is ready to be decorated! The box said it was 6 ft tall but wasn't even close until we put the top branch straight in the air!!!
All done!

Please not the train at the bottom of the tree. We spent HOURS looking for it! After consulting a nice mom in Toys R Us we went to a specialty train store. Once home we realized that one of the cars was missing a wheel so Tim went back to the store to trade it in. Once assembled we couldn't get the train to run. We were so frustrated until noticed the stickers were upside down!!!! when switched... success!!! Tim then says, this HAS to be made in china... and what do you know it was!
Well we are excited for the christmas season and all the parties and treats that come along with it. 2 more days and I get to start on my advent calendar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back to blogging!

So I think I am going to start blogging but I make no promises! I created this blog but then never ever blogged, so here we go......... I think this will be my journal/scrapbook/ a big waste of time and a way for everyone to keep up with me and Tim.
So what have we been up to lately.... NOTHING! Tim has been crazy busy with school writing papers and midterms so for compensation I just pick up loads of shifts so I am not bored at home.
In honour of Tim's last midterm we went bowling last night!!!!
This is Tim... he is a good bowler. When asked why he is a good bowler he promptly informed me that he went on LOTS of dates while in the ysa scene. I guess I am  one lucky lady!

This is me. I am a terrible bowler and don't remember the last time I broke 100. I would bowl a strike and then at least 2 gutter balls! But at open bowl cheap days are tuesdays and thursdays so we kind of want to take up bowling more often!
Alright now Tim and I are going to decorate for christmas. I am sooooo excited!
