Everything in Between

This is picture is one of my personal favourites. Wrigley is such a stinky puppy but we love him anyways.
Due to the snow Wrigley was getting snow stuck in his paws and didn't like it so we tried out the boots he got from Mom's garage sale!
The Dudley's came to visit. We hit up chicken on the way and it was awesome!

Love this little girl!

Tim is trying to relive his junior high years so he bought Monopoly: Lord of the Rings version! I don't really enjoy monopoloy but I did like this. I killed Tim in one of the games. The best part is that every time you roll the all seeing eye (which is actually just a 1) the ring moves around the board and once the ring has gone all the way around, the game is over. This way the game doesn't last FOREVER!

I made some of Erin's enchilada's for Tim. He always says but they taste so much better when you do it! Blah! Blah! Blah! This is how they turned out...
We bought an exercise bike because we are trying to be a little bit more healthy. We both died when we rode it.
Super puppy! I love this little dog. We continue to go on regular walks to the dog park and he snuggles me after a night shift. He turned 1 on January 28. We gave him a big pile of hamburger and he downed it in seconds.

End of Fantasy Football and Super Bowl

Well good for me and sad for Tim but football has come to end! First off Tim won in our fantasy football league!! Sooo exciting buuuut this means that I got second and lost to him in the final! Seriously?!?! My team did so awesome for every game except when I played Tim. I am sad but I think I will put a little more effort in and see if I can win next year. Good job and congratulations Timmy!
The 49'ers made it to the super bowl this year and that is very exciting because they are Tim's favourite team and let's just say Tim's teams never do all that awesome. Originally, Tim told me that we weren't allowed to have a super bowl party because he needed to focus and a party would cause too many distractions. I love him but I ignored him and had a party anyways. Tim was ok with this and did enjoy it. We had lots of people and lots of treats for the occasion.
Tim started out calm and enjoying the game. Soon the 49'ers started losing and did not have a good first half. So when Beyonce rocked the stage at half time, Tim left to play dominion.
In the second half the lights in the stadium went out and somehow managed to light a fire under the 49'ers. They started a come back! This brought Tim back into the room and he was super excited and very very nervous.
I know you are all worried about me. It is ok. I was fine during the game!
The 49'ers had a chance but unfortunately they weren't able to pull through. Poor Tim. Oh well, maybe better luck next year? Or maybe the Jazz will win.... Oh I love him!

Happy New Year!

Again I know that I am still behind in blogging but slowly I will catch up.
We started off by the night by heading over to the Wright's for some delicious hot pot! mmm! After 2 1/2 years of being in this family I am slowly starting to enjoy the different culture that they bring into my life. I enjoy the meat and the baby corn that you can throw in! I know what you are all thinking... wow you are sooo white! I know I will always love meat and potatoes but I at least I am willing to try. We also played lots of games. Tim loves chess and loves the challenge and strategy it brings. He was actually on the chess team in high school!
I learned how to play mahjong and eventually won a game! I am very proud of myself because you have to know some characters. Tim drew me up a cheat sheet and I was able to sort of figure it out.
We then headed over to the Goldthorpe's for more food and games! The boys are currently addicted to playing dominion. I enjoy dominion but not all of the crazy expansion sets. I enjoy a simple game and can't figure out how to build the cool combinations they do.
We always look forward to this get together because it is so fun to see new and old faces. The party grows each year with new wives, fiancees and babies. I also enjoy the fire and burning a piece with something written on it that we don't like or don't want to bring into the new year.
We love you all and look forward to another year! Thanks for all you do. Tim and I appreciate you. To those of you who missed the party, please come and visit because we miss you or we will try to visit you!

What the Christmas??

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know it is March but I have to stay in order so I MUST blog about Christmas as it was truly wonderful and then the other happpening so that I can finally catch up.
This is our Christmas tree. We decorate the tree at the end of November so that we can enjoy doing it together. If we don't decorate it in November then Tim gets too busy with school and we barely have any time to just celebrate and have fun. Each year we buy each other a new ornament. Tim got me another Taylor Swift guitar and I got him a little lego man. It is fun to add to our Christmas stock every year. I love Christmas and hope to one day have it exploding in our house.

We celebrated Christmas a few days early with the Wright's by going out for dinner and then opened presents!
David made us new scarves!
Chrissy got a puzzle and a super cute new sweater!

After a Wright Christmas, I worked a few more shifts and then we headed down south for a Wilde Christmas! The party had already begun when we got there and it pretty much never stopped.
Tim loves presents because his Grammie always spoiled him rotten so now he loves to spoil the neices and nephews. We gave the kids the first round of presents because they had a million. These were from the dollar store and only made it through a few nights of playing but they were still really fun

We played A LOT of mario cart. Tim of course took this picture because he always won. Cohen loves the wii and Santa loves him enough to bring him a wii of his own.

We utilized the number of iphones to keep the kids busy. Cocoa and Quinny could play on these all day. Mason lost interest a little bit faster.
I had the job of organizing theNativity pageant so we dug through the dress up box and found my mom's wedding dress. Tannis wore it to be the star and it was definitely a hit. We coudn't stop there so we tried on our old dresses. We definitely rocked them. Side note: Erin is a couple months preggo in this pic! Nic work at fitting into it!
Our mother was definitely surprised.
For Christmas Eve we had a fabulous party. We played Minute to Win It!! Very fun and everyone was such a good sport! Sherri won the cookie game. It was hard work to get it from your forehead to your mouth with out using hands!

John and Taylor shakin the junk in the trunk.
Mase LOVED the chocolate fountain and Taylor Boy was kind enough to show him how to use it.
Cocoa was the cow in the Nativiy Pageant and he was so good at it.
Grandma and Grandpa Evans were Mary and Joseph. They did awesome.Grandpa even had a fake beard held on by double sided tape. I hope they are around next christmas and I promise not to forget baby Jesus!!
Cohen and Denton left a note for Santa. Good thing Cohen can't read:)
We had a pluthera of presents!
Cohen with the new electric car from Uncle Tim.

As always, Tim sewed my stocking shut.
Exhaustion after opening presents.
Once again we rocked the alumni tourney! For the first game we all played together and of course we won. For the second game we got mixed up and Danielle and I were on the same team and again of course we won!
I hit a point of exhaustion but still had to go boxing day shopping and we took our annual picture in Santa's chair.
We then headed home because as always I had to work. It was so much fun and always I can't wait til next year!
