The tail end of March and beginning of April

On March 30 we welcomed the newest member of our family into our home... NO we did not have a baby nor am I pregnant. We got a dog!! Wrigley Wright. Our puppy is wonderful and I love having him around. We are still working on house training him and truthfully have yet to go a full day with out an accident. We almost made it yesterday but when we went over to Tim's parents house and Tim was told to keep his eyes on him it didn't go so well and well he had another accident!
Wrigley sleeps in a kennel next to our bed and does quite well with it but we love him to snuggle so after a few times of putting him in our bed he thought it was a better place to sleep so he was waking up at 6:00 AM and crying until we let him out to the bathroom but he got in trouble and was kicked out of the bedroom for a night and now he is no longer crying in our room!
Wrigley is able to sit and we are working on his play. He knows he has to sit and wait to be invited to play. We enjoy going on walks and are loving the warm weather! Yes, Wrigley is my baby for the time being. Just accept it!!! And don't judge me :)

Isn't he just wonderful?? That raccoon is his absolute favourite!

We went puddle jumping during all the rain and snow we were getting so Wrigley got super muddy and therfore had his very first bath! He didn't love it but tolerated the bath ok.

He enjoys to just lay on the rug and sleep or wait for food droppings while I am in the kitchen.

In other news we had EASTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Dudley's and Tanny came and spent a few days at our house and we partied it up. We enjoyed a few rounds of Mario Kart Wii!! I lost pretty much every time and Tim won just about every time. We also played some Dutch Blitz but Tyler and Tim were party poopers so they didn't take part in cards. Rocko and Wrigley played and played and played. Rocko would pin wrigley by his ears, it was rather comical. Unfortunately I really didn't take any pictures but Quinny is getting super big. I just love her to pieces! We had lots of fun dancing. She really knows how to boogie! Favourite Quinn moment was when we took our eyes off her and ran away up the stairs. She was naked wich allowed her to poop the biggest poop!! bahaha you had to be there but I thought it was the dog's but it was WAY to big to be a puppy poop!
We also hit up the calgary peace bridge. It is nice but I think calgary spent a little too much money on a slightly useless object! We went to my mother's ward in Calgary and heard her sing in the choir. It really was quite lovely. We then had easter dinner at my mother's and enjoyed an easter egg hunt, compliments of myself!!! How truly lovely. Quinn was a very good egg hunter. I am not sure how she slept that night because I had a lovely time feeding her an excessive amount of candy. And my mom gave us all soap and giant kinder surprises! woohoo. they were delicious. The heyland's even came over for some dinner. It was lovley to have everyone over for the festivities. Hopefully we can do it all again soon.... in Erin and Tyler's new house!!!
Most importantly I must thank my Savior for the amazing gift of the gospel and eternal life. There are endless joys that come from the gospel. I am truly blessed and am so grateful for how wonderful life is!!! I hope we can all remember how blessed we are each and every day!
