Keep the Party Rolling

After BSB we hung out in Welling just a little longer. He hit up the Fish Pond to relive Danielle's glory days of jumping off the spill gates into swampy water. The kids rode bikes along the nice paved trail and when they got tired half way through, Danielle told them, "You can do hard things!" Good parenting Muffy!
Mom came to play at the park during her lunch break and chase the kids around.

We frequently piled everyone on the quad and looked at the horses. We drive super slow so it is safe...
Pants are optional at Grandma's house.
Every time you set Oliver on the ground Scar would make a beeline for him. She loved to pull off his socks.

How cute is this kid? I gave him and Coco shirts that said Little Dude and Big Dude. I just never managed to get a picture of them together!
I enjoyed lots of Ollie snuggles.

Naps should NEVER be ignored. Too much playing was exhausting for this little boy.
Thanks to Grandpa Kevin for saddling up the horses. Mason could have stayed on this horse forever. Mason rode all by himself. Even Ollie had a ride this time!
Free doughnuts! Yes, please. Happy Birthday Tim Horton!
Can hardly believe how big and smiley Ollie is.

Quinny LOVES Ollie. Maybe a little too much.
The kids were pretty good but we did need a break once so they got to watch a movie.

Happy Birthday Tanny!!!
Thanks to Paul we were able to continue celebrating Tannis's birthday at Boston Pizza.

Happy 4th Anniversary + Stars on Ice

It is crazy how fast the last 4 years have flown by. So far the highlights have been: living in 3 different apartments, finishing respiratory therapy and an undergrad in political science and history, started on a thesis, added Wrigley to the family and traveled to China, Taiwan and Israel. I would have to say that it has been a successful 4 years. I love Tim so much and wouldn't change anything. He loves me through all challenges and definitely takes care or me. Lately he has been doing waaaay more laundry than me and keeping the house spotless. He is the greatest! Here is to another 4 and maybe an eternity after that!
On our anniversary we went out for a delicious steak dinner.
And filled in the cracks with some ice cream.

A week later we went to Stars on Ice. It was a super cute program featuring all of the olympic figure skaters. I was beyond obsessed with Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir so I was a little star struck through the program.

Every year we take a picture of with the picture from the previous year so it just continues to grow. (thanks pinterest) It is a little hard to see all of the different pictures but I kind of like our little tradition.

Enjoying the Sun in May

Tim bought a bike!! I am so happy and looking forward to a fun summer or riding all of Calgary and the mountains.

In honour of the new bike we rode for about 2 hours and went from our house to Bowness to Princess Island bike, past the zoo and turned around at the industrial area. The original plan was to turn around at the zoo because that is where Tim used to bike to when he was younger and first moved to Calgary.  We accidentally missed the zoo and our leisurely bike ride turned into 30 km bike ride!

Our ward is pretty cool and had a family fun run. I definitely need to improve my training regimen because I was pooped out at the end of the 5km.
You could say we were pretty happy to be participating.
A family brought a picnic to enjoy after and this creature may have stolen entire slice of pizza from them! Whoops! Bad parenting.
Tim continues to train for his 1/2 marathon. He has been more dedicated than I even thought possible. He had to go get some under armour cold gear so he could feel cool while running.

He ran through the dog park (it has a paved path and is meant to facilitate bikers and runners as well as dogs) and was BIT by a psycho dog!! He was so focused on the run and getting a good time that he just yelled at the owner but never stopped running.
Good news was that he only had a little mark from the dog.
We LOVE infomercials. I am getting ready for another gardening season so I splurged and bought an x-hose. It is pretty fabulous.
