October

The snow stayed away for most of October which was truly a blessing. I am so grateful that we were still able to spend lots of time outside. Fall really is beautiful when it stays around for more than a second. Jack and I were plagued by the cold for the vast majority of October. I partook in nap time just about every day. Having a little power snooze mid day makes a world of difference. I pray Jack never gives up his nap!
This kid just kills me. After a bath he goes to dry off and warm up by the heater. As he stands there he says hot hot.
I kind of like these two. Jack absolutely adores Tim. When Tim comes home from work, Jack runs to the door and won't leave Tim alone until he gets some attention. It was kind of a long month for all of us as Tim had picked up a paint job. He painted in the evenings after work. The extra money was nice but it made for some seriously long days.

Sleep continues to be struggle for this little one. He wakes up at the crack of dawn and goes hard until he passes out. This makes for time number two falling asleep in a shopping cart at Wal-mart.
I love those little toes sticking out from behind the curtain. We are starting to play lots of hide and seek with intense hiding spots.
We love the puzzles and books from the library. I think it is going to be a popular place for us over the winter.
Jack has recently discovered a love of snuggling. This only happens when Paw Patrol is on but I will take what I can get. Tim normally wakes up with him in the morning but after about half hour he comes up to snuggle me. It is a little earlier than I like to be awake but I will take what I get.
I still have major love for this dog. He is so patient with Jack and is the only person who snuggles me back regularly. I put one of Jack's sweater on Wrigley. It was hilarious as the hood kept falling over his eyes.
We got our first dusting of snow. Needless to say it is going to be a long winter if this little one won't keep his mitts on.
Thanksgiving was a relaxed affair this year. The Wright's came over for some ham and pie. Jack wasn't too sure about the pie as it contained fruit but he was super pumped about the whip cream.

I final used up my garden tomatoes in a batch of spaghetti sauce. The sauce was delicious! I can hardly wait to try again next year but I am already doing research in hopes of doubling my crop.
