Jack was super excited to carve pumpkins but was out once he realized he had to pull the guts out with his hands.
Elise and Jack's pumpkin.
Tim's pumpkin.
I thought going to Bass Pro for a Halloween picture would be a fun outing.... going out with two kids is harder than I anticipated. The line was longer than anticipated and Jack was pumped to be out and we managed. Getting the actual picture was the most terrifying part as handing over your 8 week old to a 3 year old is a dicey decision.
Getting excited for Halloween and looking at all the decorations in the neighbourhood.
I just can't get enough of this little Princess Leia.
I am very proud of my non-crafty self. I sewed Jack's Luke Skywalker coat out of an old bed sheet and varagesaled his shirt. I made Phoebe's headband with some braided yarn and glued it on some elastic. They are just the cutest. I could eat them up!
Dressed up and ready for the Ward Halloween Party. Luke, Leia and Darth Maul
It is so fun to see him getting bigger and being able to participate in the activities. He loves being part of the group and being with the big kids.
We lucked out and got a fairly nice night for trick-or-treating. Jack was so excited to go out but melted down and wouldn't put on his Luke Skywalker costume. We compromised and he wore last years panda outfit.
Jack lasted longer than I thought he would and people were far too generous. We started with a tiny little candy bag but quickly realized it wouldn't hold anything. Tim had to run home and grab a bigger bag.
He got a massive haul. We trick-or-treated down our culdesac and up Luxstone Blvd all the way to Becky's house by 7-11. By that point Jack was done and we enjoyed a quiet walk home looking at all the costumes.
